I am super excited to be starting the 2026 school year as the Principal of Flemington School- 23km from Waipukurau in the beautiful rural Central Hawkes Bay district.

Our students, staff and community constantly assess needs and practise to align with our Mission statement “ Education Excellence and Success. 

This year our 90 students are spread across 4 classrooms and we have year 0-2, year 3-4, year 5-6 and year 7-8 cohorts to help us effectively meet the learning and assessment criteria set out in the New School Curriculum.  

Our learning environment and visions provide a rich array of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities as well as lots of activities that are unique to rural schools.  

Our students are well supported by our passionate teachers, our motivated and visible Board of Trustees as well as our amazing Parent Fundraising Group (PFG).
